    The David Kenneth Group is seeking to add a qualified Capture Manager to its team of experienced Data Center Migration Professionals.  The person in this role will be responsible for winning business opportunities. The capture manager will be a dedicated individual focused on one-to-many deal pursuits overseeing the opportunity from inception through award.

    • Work on selected opportunities and oversees bid strategies, pricing, teaming, and proposal strategies.
    • Manage the transition from opportunity discovery to the proposal process where the opportunity is closed.
    • Sell the opportunity internally as well as to the client in order to get the resources necessary for pursuit and proposal development.
    • Act on the behalf of the executive sponsor for the opportunity.
    • Identify the resources required to pursue a bid, establish any infrastructures required, processes, and plans necessary, and manage their execution.
    • Act as the Proposal and or Project Manager designate.
    • Communicate effectively, develop strong internal and external working relationships; delegate work as well as work well with a team.
    • Lead and execute complex projects with limited supervision
    • Understand clients’ overall business objectives and how to position effective solutions to ensure successful implementation of products and technologies.
    • Effectively multitask between different initiatives quickly while maintaining project timelines


    • Proven experience in sales and winning business opportunities.
    • Accomplished business developer who understands project management, contracts, and proposal development.
    • Ability to development familiarity with current and potential clients in order to be conversant in their terminology, policies, organizational structure, etc.
    • Previous experience developing and writing RFPs.
    • The ideal candidate must be delivery orientated, proactive, and comfortable working in small teams of top-flight personnel.
    • IT infrastructure background and some data center migration knowledge/exposure.
    • Demonstrates the ability to communicate with and build lasting relationships with clients.
    • Excellent attention to detail, able to think fast and adapt quickly to change.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Customer focused, with a proven track-record of exceeding expectations in project delivery.

    • Must be authorized to work in the United States

    • Federal experience a plus   
    • Ability to travel as needed (approximately 20-30% 1wk/month average within continental US annually 
    • Telecommute (willing to support various U.S. time zones)
